Events Graduate Assistant

Biography

I was born and raised in Villa Rica, Georgia and attended the University of West Georgia for my undergraduate degree. I graduated with my Bachelor’s of Science in Early Childhood Education with a concentration in Special Education in May 2019.

I was first introduced to recreation in the fall of 2016 when I began working with University Recreation as a facility assistant. During my three years with URec, I was promoted to facility supervisor then to building manager. It was during my senior year of undergrad that I realized I could make a career as a campus recreation professional, so I applied to continue my education at the University of West Georgia in the College Student Affairs master’s program.

While I attend the University of West Georgia and work with University Recreation, I hope to be able to use my experiences to assist in the development of the students I work with.
