Assistant Director of Outdoor Education

I am originally from Minocqua, Wisconsin and received my Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire.  After graduation I spent 2 years working professionally in the medical field, and while rewarding, it wasn't the big picture for me.  I decided to shift gears and go into the field I worked in as an undergraduate student - Outdoor Recreation.  This move was a gamble, but was one of the best decisions I have ever made.  Helping students reach experiences in the outdoors which seem out of reach or extreme is one of the most fulfilling aspects of this job - and UWG is the perfect place to make that happen.  I hope to blend my medical background with outdoor recreation and education to develop West Georgia Outdoors and UREC by investing in our incredible staff and providing recreational opportunities for students campus-wide.  Adventure on!
