Dear UWG Students, Faculty, Staff, Alumni, and Community Members,

The UWG Presidential Screen and Search Committee (PSSC) would like to thank the campus community for all of the input we received over the last two weeks. We had more than 100 attendees at the listening sessions and have received more than 400 survey responses. The committee will soon analyze the feedback received and share a summary of the common themes on the Presidential Search website. Your perspectives and insights will be extremely helpful as we recruit prospective candidates and evaluate applicants.

Some of you have inquired about the timeline and policies that govern the search process. This information can be found by following the links below:

We will continue to receive input from the campus and the community until October 22 and encourage you to:

  • Take the survey found on the UWG Presidential Search homepage or by following this link.
  • Invite a PSSC committee member to attend an upcoming meeting as an active listener. The member will then submit common-themed questions/concerns to the full committee. Responses to these will be addressed in the “Stay Up-To-Date” area of the website as the search progresses.
  • Connect directly by using the “Contact Us” information posted on the website or by emailing with your concerns.
