The below form is for undergraduate embedded certificates only. To pursue one of the
below certificates, students must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate program
of study.
Eligibility: Richards College certificates may be completed by either business or non-business
majors.
Business majors are eligible to apply for a certificate(s) when they have completed
the requirements to take upper level classes within the Richards College of Business.
Non-Business majors are eligible to apply for a certificate(s) when they have completed
a minimum of 45 hours of classes with at least a 2.00 GPA.
If you wish to receive a Richards College of Business certificate, you must apply
no later than the last day to withdraw without penalty in the semester in which you
are graduating.
Eligibility:
The Microbiology Certificate program is open to all Biology majors, students pursuing
either the B.S. or minor in Biology at the University of West Georgia.
A student may formally apply to the certificate program after successful completion
of Microbiology (BIOL 3310) with a grade of “C” or higher.
Microbiology Certificate program application packages are available through the University
of West Georgia Department of Biology.
